FBI Releases Photo of Person of Interest After Charlie Kirk Assassination

Utah — One day after the fatal shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, the FBI has released a photo of a person of interest connected to the attack.

The grainy image, shared on X, shows a young man wearing a hoodie and carrying a backpack. Federal agents are urging the public to help identify him, stressing that even the smallest tip could prove critical.

Kirk, 31, was shot during a Q&A session on campus in what investigators now believe was a carefully planned attack. The photo represents the first major lead in the manhunt, and the FBI says information from the community may be key to locating the suspect.

Authorities continue to review surveillance footage, interview witnesses, and analyze evidence from the scene as the investigation intensifies.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI immediately.
